Morning Watch

When someone mentions Morning Watch, they are usually referring to the tranquil period of time when we rise in the morning to have fellowship with and accept spiritual food from God.  Why is it a great blessing for a Christian to rise early in the morning and come to God?   It is because morning is the time we present ourselves before God, and it is also the best time to have fellowship with Him.

"And in the mornings, a great while before day, He rose and went out to a lonely place, and there He prayed"
(Mark 1:35)

Similarly, our Morning Watch is our first religious service of the day. It is held in our chapel and starts at 8:00 am, and usually lasts for 25-30 minutes. The wonderful thing about Morning Watch is that each day, the service is presented by a family or group that has volunteered for that day. The Morning Watch service gives great insight into each family, their dynamics, their struggles, their joys, their concerns, and their sorrows. Most importantly, the family usually explains how God has touched their lives or has had some impact in their family. Every Morning Watch service is memorable and is a perfect way to start the day.   After the Morning Watch service, we proceed to the dining hall for breakfast at 8:30 am.
